The June 2013 Visa Bulletin provides encouraging news for those awaiting progress in the employment-based third preference category (all chargeability) as the cut-off dates jump from December 1, 2007 to June 1, 2008. The U.S. Department of State reminds applicants that dramatic advances are not indicative of future movement since this type of activity prompts higher demand for visa numbers. This, in turn, decreases the overall supply of visa numbers for the fiscal year and slows forward movement in cut-off dates.
